    class, we watched videos of two songsdiscussed and defined the term physical characteristics. Physical characteristics are geographical features that tell about the geography of the U.S. (America the Beautifulwere not made by humans (i.e. lakes, rivers and This Land is Our Land). Though these songs may differ in style and word choice, they both describe the PHYSICAL CHARACTERISICS of the U.S.mountains). Check out

    Watch these two videos of two songs that tell about the geography of the U.S. (America the Beautiful and This Land is Our Land). Though these songs may differ in style and word choice, they both describe the physical characteristics of the U.S. Listen carefully to the lyrics, and come to class with a list of the physical characteristics listed in each song. Be ready to discuss them when you come to class!
